DAY 1

Join Mtn Sol Adventures for an action-packed one-day crevasse rescue course on Mount Baker, immersing you in critical mountaineering safety skills amid the breathtaking North Cascades. Start early in Sedro-Woolley with a gear check and briefing, then drive to the trailhead for a 2-3 hour hike to the Coleman or Easton Glacier. Spend the day mastering crevasse rescue techniques under expert instruction, including knot-tying, building secure anchors, setting up pulley systems, and practicing team-based rescue drills while honing glacier navigation and hazard assessment. Conclude with a late afternoon descent to the trailhead, returning to Sedro-Woolley by evening, equipped with essential alpine safety skills for confident glacier travel.
