Activity Details

DAY 1

Hike to Base Camp – Start your Mount Baker climbing adventure at the Park Butte Trailhead (3,360 ft). Hike 3.5 miles along the scenic Railroad Grade trail through meadows to Sandy Camp (5,800-6,300 ft) at the Easton Glacier’s base, gaining 2,600 feet in 3-4 hours. Enjoy stunning Mount Baker views, then join guides for a quick glacier skills refresher. Set up camp, eat a hearty dinner, and rest for the summit push.
